Ishqbaaz Season 1 going off air with this date, new romance coming with only Nakul Mehta

Ishqbaaaz has been making the headlines for the longest time with the generation leap news breaking the internet. The first season of the show will be coming to an end soon making way for the second season with only Nakuul Mehta from the original cast returning. Nakuul will be seen playing the role of Shivaansh Singh Oberoi, Shivaay and Annika's son, on the show. Opposite him will be a new female lead, unlike reports which suggested that Drashti Dhami or Sanaya Irani amongst others were in contention for the same.

Now, according to a source, a newcomer named Manjiri has been roped in to romance Nakuul on the show. Yes, we came across a monochrome picture of Manjiri and we wonder if she will be able to strike the same chemistry as Surbhi with Nakuul. The source also informed that the makers will be going ahead with the leap starting from December 17. "The show will be taking the much talked about generation leap from the 17th of December which will mark the beginning of the new season. Nakuul and Surbhi shot for the promo announcing the leap last night. The new comer will be joining the team soon," revealed the source.

Meanwhile, Ishqbaaaz has been witnessing the wedding of everyone's favourite Shivika. The show has been running for around two and a half years and is undoubtedly one of the most loved shows.
